I bought these white and decided to paint them myself and give them as christmas gifts :) everyone loves hand made things!?

I painted them with acrylic, then with a paint marker (gold)

painted the wings, and then with some shiny gold paint i pated on

top of the flowers to make it super shiny. they turned out great, im going to make more.

its super easy.

i was aiming for "ruby red" but this is what came out.

im going to give it 2 1/2 months until i bleach and dye my hair paramore orange.

good bye orange hair!

okay so lately i have been busy (moving, quitting my job, finding new ones, job interviews, etc etc) so basically life has been hectic.
I dyed my hair lastnight, i haven't taken any pictures of the new color yet, but i like it!
but im defenetly going back to bright ass red in february!

BLaine left it on the kitchen counter for me and i came in through the back door so it was

the first thing i saw, wrapped up, it was so sweet i've yet to eat it! its like a sugar cookie, i want to eat it with him :)

Rest in Peace Mordy

Our loyal, lovable, and beautiful dog Mordy, who lived with ZAch, got prostate cancer and it reached his lungs in less then a month, it was the saddest thing watching him be in pain, he wasen't eating, he couldn't pee, he was not active...this morning, Sunday November 14th 2010, we had to put him to sleep.

Rest in peace baby boy, you will always be in our hearts, i'll love you for ever.
I wont ever forget this morning, it was one of the saddest moments of my life.

What i did, i bought a shirt, cut it up, bought fuzzy frabric and made a white belly,

and luckily a found a white frilly puffy skirt and just wore that underneath it as the tail fin.

I dyed my hair red for this costume, BUT you cant really tell is too red in this pic...

well, over all it was fun, and some of us got alcohol poisoning that night...

busy busy halloweeeek!

This week has been hectic! me and my boyfriend are moving to a super cute apartment in Plaza Midwood in Charlotte, it is not too much of hassel because we are moving from South end which is like 5 minutes from there, im in love with this new place, will post pics once settled!


My busy week has not allowed me to carve pumpkins yet, but this weekend we will :)
i have gotten a pumpkin from trader joes last weekend with the intentions of carving it but i just got too crowded with things to do :(

Belle and Sebastian review "Write about love"

When i went to see Belle and Sebastian in NYC September 30th, they opened up with their song from their new album, "write about love". The song is called "i didn't see it coming" and i love it! its so catchy and great, they came back with this album after a 5 year hiatus.

They also played alot of their older song, such as "like dylan in the movies"

and "piazza new york catcher" (and extended version which rocked) and others.

It was a greta show after great music, jokes, throwing autographed footballs to the kids in the crowd, inviting 5 people from the crowd to dance and clap on stage, and awarding them with medals, i couldn't of asked for anything better, hands down the best show i have ever been to in my life, not to mention we were at the Williamsburg water fron in Brooklyn, so you could see the WHOLE long NYC Manhattan skyline across the river, it was amazing

i've gone orange

Decided to dye my hair a day ago, had to bleach it first to get this color, im glad it turned the way i hoped it would, thank you Lia for helping dye my hair :)

Im working on my costume this weekend, i got the materials, it wont be too hard, this costume required me to have orange hair, soo it works out perfectly.

Went thrifting today and found some goodies! will post them up later.

We are having wine tasting at work today, i don't really like wine, people tell me i have not developed a taste fr it yet, but i think i never will! it just doesnt taste good, but i guess i'll have some? haha, well, hope you all have a great thursday!

I got the Burts Bees acne treatment trial kit today :)

i am hooked on proactive, have been since i was 16, iam 23 now, if i stop using it for a couple of days i break out :( maybe this treatment will work? i love burtsbees, i love it because it is so natural and organic! long live Burts bees! i have heard so many great things about this treatment!

the miners are free

This is Voltron, the newest building in Charlotte, it changes colors, and even on monday, Voltron went GAY and turned rainbow colors for national coming out day! its the coolest building ever, always going different colors and such, i can see if from my window!

in others new....

I almost cried when i saw the news, all the miners in Chile were rescued, what a flipping miracle.

Today and tomorrow are my busy days this week, ill eventually blog maybe notight or tomorrow, going to a wedding with Blaine in Columbia, South Carolina, maybe i'll find some neat things there.

latest craft project (Russian doll style monsters)

So i got these at a local thrift store 3 months ago, they were very cute!! specially the smallest one, but Blaine had another idea for them when we bought them.

They can come apart and you can put them all inside eachother. So i painted them all white.

Then i started painting on them to make them look like
