PULGA LA TIENDA, Lima Peru

This is me walking on the streets of Peru once again, found a a neat mini thrift slash hand made craft store in Miraflores! i Found it in 2009, but i had to go back to take a few snapshots to blog about it!

We got there and it was closed, so many little neat restaurants around there, the city is wonderfull, ate across the street and noticed they were opening the store up so i ran across super happy.

i got a little ring, they wrapped it up with some candy.

Birthday blues

February 21st, that night me Syd and Baxter went for a few drinks and later

met up with the boys at Growlers for the monday night thing. When the clock stroke midnight

i was my birthday and got offered drinks but i turned them down because i had to work

at the pre school the next day!

After that, February 22nd we all went to eat at the Diamond (which was very yummy)

and then to the park to lay down for a bit.

record store, i had bought a birthday orange from the store and ate it an hour later..

It was a great day. I turned 24.

Its been a while since i posted, my computer charger broke so i have to buy a new one, i haven't done that yet so i'm updating from my friend Baxter's computer!

i could use Blaine's BUT i haven't because i been so sick! just been in bed (couch)

for like 4 days straight... yesterday was the first day out, went to suicide masion

to see our friend Elijah's band, it was neat, i wish i could of snapped some pics, Baxter did though.

Spend the night at Baxters had some tea time, we are making brunch, some yum french toast, going outside to eat it in the tipi in her back yard. weathers been soooo nice lately, going back to cold next week though...

Valentines day i got Blaine a few goodies. he loved them.

He got me some roses, chocolates, and a record. haha loved it.

my birthday is on tuesday and Baxter is throwing me a party on saturday, it shall be grand!

thrift finds

So after work today i went out to eat with my brother, and then
we decided to go to Value Village, since i have been wanting to go for like a week now,
somehow ive having dreams of going thrifting! loolZ
i did not have enough time to look around sadly :(
BUT i did find these two awesome things, and some cute heals ;)
i love this red chunky knit sweater.

And this old school vinatge coach purse! im so lucky when it comes to finding these coach purses.

its my third one but different color! i love this brown/tan.

I fixed up the office/multi purpose room in my apartment, finally. ugh.

SOMEONE had to throw away the moving boxes and all (it was all me)

My boyfriend has about 100 framed prints all over the house and pretty much the ones

that are not hung on the walls are in the office, ugh, well someday when we have a way bigger place, we will be able to hang them all!

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, if so, im riding my bike non-stop, i love winter weather though, but if it gets a little warmer im not complaining....unless its 90 degrees. yuk.

scarf!

This scarf i found a couple weeks ago thrifting,

i love it! it has strawberries on it, its the cutest.

Its to small for me to tie it around my neck or my head so i made it into a bow and

tied it on a head band and put it on my head, problem solved :)

i am going through a scarf obsession, my collection has doubled!

Painting

I painted this with acrylic on canvas, a couple of months ago.

It my kitty, i made him look like he is gulty and he knows he did something bad,

because thats how he is! always getting in trouble!
