This time me and Blaine will be going to visit our friend JD and go thrifting and

go on adventures :) we will arrive there tomorrow and have 5 awesome days.

I wont be taking my computer so i wont blog until later! until then!

Found this awesome Charlotte Hornets mug! i couldnt believe it!

And this pretty thing, i use it to hold my paint brushes! (Blaines idea)

I got a new camera, its a cannon, it takes way better pictures, but i needed a new one to take pics for our trip wednesday! :) i am not a camera nor picture person, thus keeping my old camera, but now i got a new one! yay it was about time.

PS: i was watching lion king, it never fails to make me cry when Mufasa dies..

Just wanted to share, these special heart tattoos my friend Abby, me, and Chrsitina all got a about a year and a half ago.

Abby moved to New York, but i will get to see her next week, because im going there for 5 days!

There has been chaos in Charlotte, because one of our historic landmarks, and favorite restaurant, "The Penguin" thats has been even featured in the Food network many times, is changing management. The owners of the bulding and the owners of the actual restaurant wont come to an agreement, so the owners of the bulding (which also own the name) are kicking the others out, and taking over the place, starting a franchise of the penguin opening a new location as well. The current penguin staff and managers will go to the Diamond (a restaurant thats beside penguin) and starting a new there, wich will bring all old penguin cutomers there. Starting OCT 24 when the Penguin will be managed a new, there will be a BOYCOTT, im going to be a part of it as well.

day off :)

First of all i have been very busy taking care of this 7 week old precious angel i adopted! his name is Ash (like fantastic mr. Fox's son) the name was picked by my boyfriend Blaine.
This cute baby kitten has stolen our hearts, Blaine is not much of a cat person but he is in LOVE with Ash, and Ash always decides he wants to sleep in between me and Blaine every night, its the cutest thing ever!


























And Saturday i decided to make Cupcakes! :) strawberry cake, cream cheese forsting, and yummy berries on top. That night i had a few friends come over for movie night so they end up eating some, and the next day when i visited my parents i took them the rest and they loved it. I also brought Ash to meet my 14 year old cat Michi, Michi hissed at him :( hahaha.
My family loved Ash i never seen my mom love on a cat as much as she did Ash, it was awesome.

ME Blaine and Elijah went thrifing for a bit today! i found some good finds! i'll post pics and details later on or tomorrow ;)

purse project and thrifty finds

This awesome Branded leather bag was purchased on my last trip to Peru earlier this year,
i fell in love with it but it was a saddle bag, so everytime i opened it it took me for ever and to close it, it had a little belt. WELL i told my mom to get me one with a little buckle and she couldnt find one when they went back to Peru (even though i seriously saw one!)
So i went to Value Village and got an old bag with the little twist-a-ble brass buckle and cut it off the bag. Took my Peru bag and cut off the belt (carefully) cut a little round oval hole and "shoo glued" the brass buckle plates. It sounds complicated but it was easy!

















Some goodies i found thrifting! i love the yarn hat, the mustard color is what i love.
And the brown high heel boots i was so exited when i found them.

Presents and dinasours

My friend Lia came home from her trip to ATL and got me this really cute

pendant of an Owl! she got its from the Botanical Garden in Atlanta, i love it.

And today before i take her to the airport tomorrow morning, she got

me these really cute cupcake reusable molds, sooo cute! cant wait to use them, might just bake some tomorrow!

And to end this post i got bored the other afternoon and wanted to get a little creative.

i Bought a bunch of canvas, including 3 mini baby canvas so i decided to put them together and make them into one piece painting. a dinasour! its in the living room wall now haha.

These cute porcelain birds i got at the dollar store, they were white to begin with.

I have had them for some time but decided i wanted to paint them so they will look happy.

I used Acrylic paint and even painted the flowers and leaves on their wings, used paint marker for the eyes. they came out lovely.

This cute Kangaroo style cat pillow! it is drawn by a cartoonist named B. Kilban, who passed away in

1992, he was famous for his drawings, i will do more research and post more about him in the near future~

but i have gotten compliments so i guess they are still good :)
